To support Bangladesh's transition from reliance on imported cybersecurity expertise toward a sustainable, locally-rooted ecosystem with validated regional capability — where trained professionals, operational institutions, and independent research form the foundation of national digital resilience.
Establishing the base. This phase focuses on grassroots digital hygiene initiatives, the launch of the Community SOC pilot, the inaugural Cybersecurity Olympiad, and the national training scale-up through the Road to Cyber Security program.
Building the framework. National curriculum alignment with recognized standards, expanded university integration beyond 50 nodes, and structured fellowship pipelines connecting top graduates to research and industry roles.
From building to maturing. Increased regional collaboration, strategic international engagement, and sovereign validation frameworks enabling Bangladesh to certify and export cybersecurity competence.
Going beyond borders. Pan-regional validation initiatives, managed capability models shared with neighbouring countries, and intelligence-sharing networks connecting CERTs, CCSIRTs, and research institutions.
The culmination of a decade of work. Centralized CCoE headquarters development, advanced SOC and research facilities, and full operationalization of the Sovereign Defense Grid.
The Cyber Security Center of Excellence (CCoE) is a national initiative designed to strengthen Bangladesh’s cybersecurity ecosystem by developing skilled professionals, enabling real-world security operations, and fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and community stakeholders.
